Parenting Teens: A Training for Foster & Adopt Parents

We know parenting during the teen years brings its own joys and challenges. As foster and adoptive parents, we also hold the responsibility of stewarding our kids' stories well and helping them discover who they are. Cam Lee Small, therapist and transracial adoptee, will be leading this training for parenting fostered/adopted children through the teen years. We will talk developmental milestones, the impact of early childhood trauma on the teen years, parenting thorough challenging behaviors, and how to honor your child's story as they begin to unpack it for themselves.
